With groves of trees bearing wild blackberries, idyllic lanes and paths, deer, plenty of birds, and blooming flowers – enjoy a terrace in Beetsterzwaag, shop in Drachten, or visit a museum in Groningen. Location
You will find us in the meadows between Drachten and Beetsterzwaag (Het Zuid 9B, Drachten). A paved road of 700 meters leads into the fields toward De Vuurplaats, providing a peaceful retreat just minutes from town.
Our access path starts between numbers 9 and 11, with a sign on the pavement. For navigation, please enter number 9 (not 9B, which will direct you to the wrong street).
Alternatively, search for "De Vuurplaats" in Drachten on Google Maps to be guided directly to our doorstep.
The Holiday Home
Holiday Home De Vuurplaats is arranged as follows: a cozy living room with wooden flooring and black leather furniture with French doors opening onto the veranda and your private garden for maximum privacy. The open kitchen features a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, and microwave. There is both a drip coffee maker and a Nespresso for your coffee needs. You will also find plenty of glasses, cups, plates, and cooking utensils. The home includes digital television and free WiFi. For movies or music, there is a DVD and CD player with various media. The bedroom offers a comfortable double box spring bed with fresh bedding. In the living room, the sofa can be converted into an extra sleeping area. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower beside the toilet and sink.
